Our adventure begins as we head to Table Mountain, one of the New Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Upon arrival, our tour guide will accompany you to the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway. Next, our journey takes us to the colorful and culturally rich Bo-Kaap, also known as the Cape Malay Quarter. Your guide will lead you through the charming, cobbled streets lined with vibrant, brightly painted houses, sharing stories of the area’s rich Muslim heritage. As you wander, you’ll learn about the Cape Malay community’s history, from their arrival as skilled artisan slaves to the establishment of the Auwal Mosque, South Africa's oldest mosque, in 1798. Be sure to sample local culinary delights like koesisters and bobotie at one of the quaint cafes in the neighborhood.

From Bo-Kaap, we make our way to the historic Company’s Garden, Cape Town’s oldest park, established in 1652 by Dutch settlers. Your guide will point out key features such as the picturesque rose garden, serene Japanese garden, and charming fish pond. Enjoy a leisurely walk or take a moment to feed the friendly squirrels. As you explore, you’ll notice the park’s proximity to important landmarks, including the Parliament buildings, Iziko South African Museum and Planetarium, and the South African National Gallery.

Our next destination is the Castle of Good Hope, an architectural marvel built by the Dutch East India Company in the late 1600s. Explore the Castle Military Museum, with its fascinating sword collection, and view the William Fehr Collection of historical paintings and furniture. If you’re visiting on a weekday, witness the traditional Key Ceremony, followed by the firing of the Signal Cannon. You can also opt for a horse and carriage ride around the grounds.

We continue our journey to Greenmarket Square, a bustling open-air market in Cape Town’s central business district.
