Our Story
The Story of Issy Shuttles Service
Issy Shuttles Service was founded in 2019 by two lifelong friends, Nosipho and Dylan, who shared a deep love for their community and a vision for better, more reliable transportation. What began as a simple idea over coffee in Cape Town, South Africa, soon grew into a mission to redefine local travel, making it safer, more convenient, and deeply connected to the people they served.
Nosipho and Dylan’s journey into the transport industry was anything but ordinary. Before launching their own company, Nosipho worked in logistics, while Dylan was a mechanic with a passion for problem-solving. Together, they saw firsthand the gaps in local transportation, overcrowded buses, unreliable schedules, and a lack of personalized service. They knew there had to be a better way.
By 2018, they started testing their vision, offering informal shuttle rides to friends and neighbors. But something was missing. Most transport services treated passengers like numbers, not people. Nosipho and Dylan wanted to change that. They dreamed of a service that wasn’t just about getting from point A to B, but about creating a seamless, welcoming experience, where every passenger felt valued, every journey felt safe, and every ride reflected the warmth of their community.
That realization sparked Issy Shuttles Service. The name wasn’t just a brand, it was a promise. A promise to deliver more than just transport; to offer reliability, comfort, and a touch of home on every trip.
Just as the company was gaining momentum, the 2019 global pandemic brought the world to a standstill. Like many businesses, Issy Shuttles had to pause operations. But Nosipho and Dylan refused to give up. They used the downtime to refine their services, strengthen their network, and prepare for a stronger comeback.
By late 2021, as restrictions eased, Issy Shuttles returned with renewed energy. Word spread quickly, their commitment to punctuality, safety, and genuine care for passengers set them apart. By 2024, what started as a local Cape Town service had expanded to other regions, connecting more communities with the same dedication that had defined them from the beginning.
Today, Issy Shuttles Service continues to thrive, still driven by Nosipho and Dylan’s original vision: to transform the way people move, one ride at a time. For them, it’s never just about transportation, it’s about building trust, fostering connections, and making every journey feel like coming home.

SATSA, short for the Southern African Tourism Services Association, is a vital membership-based organization within the Southern African tourism industry. Renowned for its credibility, SATSA serves its members through various means including advocacy, support, and networking opportunities. Within SATSA, one significant membership type is the SATSA Bonded Membership. This designation signifies that a company has met stringent financial criteria and gained SATSA’s approval to offer financial protection to customers in case of financial default. SATSA Bonded Members are obliged to deposit a bond, managed by SATSA, which serves as a safeguard for customers.
